In the late 1950s, The Furrows was launched as the official student publication of the Araneta Institute of Agriculture (AIA).
In 2002, on the same year as the formal integration of De La Salle Araneta University in the De La Salle Philippines system, The Furrows was revived to become the official institutional newsletter of the university. As the university's official newsletter, The Furrows reflects the vision and advocacy of DLSAU as it informs its collaborators and stakeholders through its regular publication and dissemination.
The Furrows is published by the Strategic Communications Office.
