iSENDD

iSENDD enables DLSAU faculty, students, and staff to request scans of small portions of a work for the purpose of private study, research, teaching or scholarship.

GUIDELINES

1. The requestor shall send an online circulation request through iSENDD form from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

2. Processing of request including scanning of documents shall be only done every 2nd Monday and 4th of the month.

3. Due to copyright restrictions, LRC shall only scan or send (1) one electronic copy in PDF format of the following documents as stated below. For additional article/chapter/abstract, the requestor shall send a separate request.

  • One (1) article from a journal
  • One (1) chapter of the book
  • One (1) abstract of thesis/dissertation

4. The electronic document shall only be available and can be accessed in One Drive for a 15 days from the day it is received. After 15 days, the e-document will be deleted in One Drive.

5. An email confirmation and guidelines shall be sent to the requestor with username and password to access the requested materials.

6. The requestor shall be solely authorized and allowed to access the electronic documents and accountable for the unauthorized distribution of the electronic copies.

7. The LRC shall not be liable to any unauthorized distribution made by the requestor.


NOTE: In compliance with the university's safety protocol, scan requests can only be done by the librarian every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
